Filter Sample Analysis

So I finally got to work with C and learn how to filter water samples collected all over the island/ocean with 45-micromillimeter filters through syringes. It was pretty fun but I still have to get used to the syringe since it's so hard to work with especially trying to get dirty, nutrient filled water out of that 45-micromillimeter filter. But got to work five hours today. I'm getting papered! Lol, by how this is going right now, it looks like I'll be able to save a few bucks and go shop with K to get some stuff for our room to use to decorate. Kinda mellowing down on HCl (Hydrochloric Acid) washing them bottles. Just gotta work on my 60-mL bottles instead of the 250 mL and 500 mL's since I've done a lot. But in order to get hours, I'll be PO4-free washing the remaining bottles instead and continue to do my data entry and samples. Also, J wants to teach me how to monitor the HOBO's. They're like little bouys in the ocean recording change in temperature or any activity in the water. Every month she flies out to Maui and she records data while she's up in the airplane then enjoys the rest of Maui then heads back. The good thing about it, it's free! That's what you get for Science grants. It's all freeeee!

Anyways, I was in Chemistry Lab today and I overheard my professor telling my TA that quizzes will now be open book. Omg, he makes that class too easy! But hey, he wants all of us to pass. So I'm looking forward to that. But now I must go back to studying for my first exam this coming Thursday.

Tootles!
