If only there was a certainty upon your return would I smile the biggest smile that I've ever did. Because if you were to return on that big day, I know I'd be happy and maybe, just maybe would we grow to know each other and become closer friends hanging out at Kareoke bars and eating sushi on the beach. I'd watch you surf the highest wave and see that smile gradually grow after you've overcome one. I'd watch you do tricks on your skateboard and fall, adding up to the scars that's already embedded within your body. We'd hike all the mountains we'd touch upon and hopefully to grow into each other and become attached. Although I don't know if surely you'll return, I know for sure I'll see you again and when I do, I won't let a moment pass in which you and I won't be together. I miss you and your laughter.
