All I've been doing lately is HCl acid washing bottles, getting for our trip to Maui. I don't enjoy it too much, but hey, I'm getting paid for it, why not? Plus, free trip to Maui during the middle of this month. But anyways, my co-undergrad lab technician, G, hasn't been coming in to help at all. I understand he must want to rest and all, and probably has a summer job, but blah. Also, C has been trying to set up a date with me to train me to do sampling data but she's not there when I'm there. I wait for her in the lab, and by the time I have to go home or to class, she's in the office and ask me if I want to do it. I was suppose to meet up with her today but I forgot that I had my placement exam at 1:30p, which meant that I was not able to. But I waited in the lab again, but there was no one that came in at all. Honestly, I love this job. Trips, easy job, good pay, nice people, but sometimes the work can get boring especially doing it again and again. Office work is not so bad but I don't like sitting down for too long. As you might notice, I'm an adventurous person and I'd love it if I was outdoors working, out in the sun enjoying the island breeze. But til then, I'll continue to strive. Can't wait to start dorming at UH. I get to enjoy the Manoa breeze and rain, also, I'll be able to go home a little bit later from my blue building or the library and not have to worry about bussing or going home early. I wish August was here already!
